This policy explains how Basalt Ridge Towing & Recovery, LLC ("Basalt Ridge", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website, our online forms, by phone, by email and in person at our office. Our online title car auction has its own privacy policy.

- Towing and impound information: where and when a vehicle was located, the vehicle's description, license plate and VIN, and details of the tow, storage and release.
- Authorization and release forms: when you authorize a tow from your property or pick up a vehicle, our forms may ask for your title or role, driver's license number and your signature, as state law requires for impounds and releases.
- Photos and documents you upload or that our drivers take of a vehicle.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested).
How we use it
- To dispatch tows and roadside service and to contact you about them.
- To process private property impounds, store vehicles and release them to the right person.
- To send you forms, links and updates you asked for.
- To meet our legal obligations, including impound notices and reports required by law, and to keep business records.
- To run our vehicle auctions.
- To keep our systems secure and working.
When we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With law enforcement and government agencies when the law requires it, such as reporting private property impounds, or in response to a lawful request.
- With the registered owner or other legally entitled parties of an impounded vehicle, as the law requires.

- With your insurance company, motor club or repair shop when you ask us to, or when it's needed to complete a tow they arranged.

Cookies and third-party content
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies and doesn't run third-party analytics. The map in our contact section is provided by Google Maps and the fonts by Google Fonts; Google may receive your IP address when they load, under Google's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep towing, impound and release records for as long as the law requires and as long as we need them to resolve disputes.
Security
Our website and forms use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to customer records is limited to our staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices
To see, correct or ask us to delete information we hold about you, call or visit us. We'll do so unless we're legally required to keep the record.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
